Event Wrap: GCCS 2017

APNIC participated at the fifth Global Conference on Cyberspace (GCCS 2017) in New Delhi, India from 23 to 24 November 2017.

GCCS 2017 brought together policy makers, industry experts, international leaders, and the technical community to work towards ‘Cyber4All: A secure and inclusive cyberspace for sustainable development’.

  • Klée joined the discussions at the Global Commission on the Stability of Cyberspace where the Commissioners called for a norm to protect the public core of the Internet, which includes Internet routing and the DNS.
  • APNIC staff also joined activities organized by the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise (GFCE), of which Paul Wilson is a member of the Advisory Board.

APNIC organized formal and informal side meetings with APNIC Members as well as representatives from the technical, policy, development, civil society, private sector, and wider Internet communities.
